Lost at Sea

I am wishing I was lost at sea. So much to do, I am tired and in a sad need of a break. To just get away from everyone and everything that wants to tie me down. How I yearn for someone to turn to me and ask earnst "When do we sail." To which I would reply with great determination - "With the Tide".

Day two of the NaNoWrMo

Well I just completed 1,595 words. Meaning tonight I have to go home and do at least 1800 to keep up to speed. Need about 1700 a day to make the 51,000 by months end. Wait I think it's only 50,000- oh well better more than less. Right? More tomorrow, mateys.

Starting NaNoWriMo

I am rewriting from total scratch the novel I started over a year ago. I will finish it this time. The working title of the book is "The Renegade Princess" . It is an adventure/romance set during the times of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. Katherine is actually the daughter of the Queen and Sir Lancelot and Arthur thinking she is his daughter or making everyone believe he believes her to be his has named her as successor to his throne and has determined she will marry a prince she had never met. She never wanted to be a princess but a knight and she refuses to marry a man she never met much less does not love. She finds out she is not the Kings daughter, his bastard son Mordred arrives, and then Sir Dauntless arrives. A man who becomes not only her champion but also her conqueror who shows her that despite her bravo she is really only a frightened little girl trapped in a woman's body and he awakens her woman's heart as no man has ever done before.

The Winds

No matter the way the winds blow, either with you or against you remember to stay the course. Always stay the course.

Writers Block

Has anyone found the cure for writers block? I am told to just keep writing and I did that now instead of a big writers block I have choas. Two many decisions to make and not sure which are the ones. Do I start with my heroine on board her ship sailing to a destination or do I start where she actually has her sword pointed at someone's throat demanding answers?

A New Beginning

Today I am beginning my plan to be organized and on top of things. One thing I need to be on top of is my writing. I completed the first draft of my pirate novel but I am still writing RP. I am also working on polishing up and revisions of the pirate novel. God, I love writing. I think it is the best part of me. I wish I could afford to do it full time. It would be awesome. My characters of which there are many are all anxious to be heard. I need to really get them out there in the world so you all can meet them.
